Maria celebrates 10 years at Obs Pick n Pay

Obs residents can be sure to be greeted with a smile from Maria Halgryn as the friendly fruit and veg weigher at Obs Pick n Pay Family Supermarket.

Maria, from Fountain House in Lower Main Road, was recently presented her 10Year award by Grant Pedersen store manager and Umberto De Abreu, the owner.

She is one of the beneficiaries of Pick n Pay’s partnership with Fountain House, who assist people with a wide range of mental and addictive problems.

“Everyone knows Maria” says Umberto “She is an asset to our store since she is always helpful and friendly and full of fun”.
