Join a club at Obs Library

Besides offering a full range of literature, Sm@rtcape and printing facilities, the Obs in Station Road library hosts a number of community activities.

From knitting groups, who knit beanies for needy babies, to adult and teen book club, the Obs Library caters for anyone, regardless of age.

The Friends of the Observatory Library host a permanent second hand book sale in the foyer of the library and occasional rummage sales held to raise funds for outreach activities.

Nadia Ismail, senior librarian, said: "Thank you to the Observatory Community who support the library with donations of new books, used books, DVD's, raffle items and so much more. It is appreciated."
