ADVERTORIAL - Blues, burgers, beers at neighbouring pub

The Thomas Easton at 61 Durban Road Mowbray, is a friendly, old fashioned, British style pub.
Good drinking, good eating, and good music in an intimate yet vibrant environment, with craft ales, over 30 kinds of whiskies, select wines, and a good selection of shots and liquors make this a place to drink in convivial surroundings.
Good food at reasonable prices include pizzas with a difference, eg. chicken, beef, vegetarian and haggis!
The burgers are infusions (rather than toppings) and include blue cheese, mustard, whisky, and chocolate liquor! And their "mozzies" fat chicken wings cooked in Mozambiquan spices; and much more.
Music is live and mostly free, unless there are big names, on Friday and Saturday nights.
Acoustic, folk, blues, jazz, reggae. Sunday is free with a varied line-up throughout the afternoon to early evening. And then there is Open Mic every Wednesday, where musicians bowl up and play.
Never sure what will happen!
Opening hours are Tuesday through Saturday 2-10pm and Sunday 2-8pm. Facebook page is TheThomasEaston. Come and join us. Call Brian 0797443501 for more info.
