Observatory Pick n Pay Family Supermarket continues their social outreach work as a way of giving back to the community, who supports them on a daily basis.

Each year, the store “adopts” a main organisation or charity to support.

The renowned Beth Uriel home for young men is the latest project Pick n Pay is involved in.

Beth Uriel, in Main Road, offers programmes for young men who need to be re-integrated into society.

Recently Obs Pick n Pay donated Easter Eggs and stationery to Beth Uriel.

Most importantly, the store’s management is negotiating with Beth Uriel to employ some of their young men into the Obs Pick n Pay workforce.

They will assist with the boys’ training and skilling.

Obs Pick n Pay will also be running their annual winter drive to support the less fortunate during the cold winter months.

Zeenith Thomas, Obs Pick n Pay Customer Service Manager said: “We are also launching a Winter Drive to support the poor and needy with blankets and new or used clothing.

“Thank you to our customers who help and assist with our social projects and also for shopping with us. We are here for you and the community, as always,” she said.

For more information please contact Zeenith Thomas on 021-4489802 or on fobservatory@pnp.co.za .

Obs Pick n Pay is open 7am-10pm.
